Brad and Ashlea was Best-man and Bridesmaid for Michael and Sarah who’s wedding I photographed October 2015. Michael and Sarah did a fantastic job in recommending me to them for their own wedding day. I was soon delighted to hear from Brad and Ashlea and we scheduled in to meet up at what was to be the venue which they were to tie the knot.

After discussing their requirements whilst going through the wedding album storybooks that are already included in each package I left with another booking for 2016.

The big day soon arrived and I headed over to Mercure Haydock Hotel for the Bridal preparations. The ladies were in full flow so I photographed a few shots of the little details which include the dress, shoes, flowers etc. before moving on upstairs to capture a couple of shots of the boys getting ready. As Ashlea started getting into her beautiful white wedding dress I headed to the ceremony room to get myself ready and speak with the registrar.

The ceremony was lovely and after walking back down the aisle as husband and wife they went outside to see their pet dogs, Barney & Wilson who made a special appearance. A couple of group photos later and we were soon in the venue’s marquee for the wedding breakfast.

The newly weds enjoyed their meal and even the entertainment which they booked for their guests. It included a male and female “waiter staff” who were to cause a scene before admitting they were actually wedding singers. It went down well…..after everyone realised! :-)

The day was soon coming to an end but before it did we headed out onto the grounds at Mercure Haydock Hotel and got some more intimate photos of the happy couple. They then moved back inside for the final part of my working day which was the first dance. Ashlea enjoyed a moment with her father before heading hand-in-hand onto the dance floor with Brad
