I met Gareth and Stephanie at their home in Pemberton, Wigan to discuss their wedding day in great detail and listen to their requirements with regards to their photography. They were so lovely to talk to and we hit it off as soon as I walked through the door.

The bridal preparations, ceremony and reception was to be held at Holland Hall Hotel, Wigan and so 3 hours before the ceremony began I headed up to the ‘Holme Suite’ to document the ladies getting ready. All the ladies were in high spirits and there was plenty of smiles :-)

After I finished up getting a few photos of Stephanie in her beautiful white wedding dress I headed down stairs and met with Gareth and his best man. All of the guests congregated in the restaurant area and once the registrar spoke with the groom to confirm his personal info was correct they were ready to invite everyone into the ceremony room. Their were 2 flower girls and 3 bridesmaids who walked down the aisle before Stephanie and her father proudly made their way to the front to start proceedings.

It was a lovely and intimate ceremony with laughter and tears exchanged between the couple. They made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife and they were met with Nicola who is the wedding coordinator and she had two glasses of fizz ready for the newly weds.

The group shots were put on stand by due to the weather being a little wet but it soon cleared in the afternoon and after the wedding breakfast and speeches we soon headed outside to enjoy the fresh air and get those all important photographs.

Gareth and Stephanie hired a magician for their afternoon entertainment who was brilliant and then a photobooth and Pier Fun Casinos joined in on the evening to help create an even more fantastic occasion.

I hope they enjoyed their honeymoon which I believe was on a cruise and I can’t wait to hear all about it when I speak with them soon :-)
