I was so pleased that this lovely couple had such fantastic weather for their special day! It had been beautiful those past few weeks and the sun certainly shone that day. The day started early as I arrived at Chantelle’s parents home in Wigan. Bacon buttys and hairspray was in abundance and I got straight into the action by documenting the bride herself getting ready before heading upstairs to capture the smaller details that make the bridal preparations what it is. It was hard work from keeping her father from coming downstairs to see the white dress as I was prepping it in the lounge for a photo
Time flew and I was soon heading back out the door to head for Wigan Parish Church for the ceremony. I met with Jack and the groomsmen a short while before proceedings began to ensure all was good. Jack looked in very high spirits and he soon headed inside to take his place as the bride was arriving.
The bridal party made their way to the entrance of the church as they organised themselves accordingly. The ceremony went smoothly and beautifully as they exchanged smiles, rings and promises. After the signing of the register they made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife.
Myself and the newly weds went for a short jolly around Mesnes Park, Wigan where I captured some more intimate shots of them together which included a little furry surprise from their pet dog, ‘Tallulah’.
The guests, I’m sure were getting anxious to congratulate them so we headed to the reception venue which was The Wrightington Hotel & Country Club where we conducted the formal group shots. It was a lovely afternoon under the glorious sunshine and at a extraordinary wedding venue. I captured some candid shots before everyone headed inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
4 superb and touching speeches were said by Chantelle’s father, the Groom himself and Jack’s best men and then I soon made my exit after the speeches. I hope everyone had a memorable day and I wish the happy couple a lifetime of happiness.
