After meeting with James and Theresa to discuss their wedding in great detail they confirmed the booking. I was to photograph a venue which I hadn’t been to before but was only up the road in Aspull, Wigan.
I arrived at Theresa’s parent’s house where I was welcomed by her Mum. Straight away I felt so comfortable and eased into the morning well. Everyone was so nice and polite and I captured some lovely preparation shots of the bridal party. Theresa had some gifts for the girls which they opened in front of me and included some essentials for the day and some personal items aimed towards each person.
I managed to capture some shots of Theresa in her dress before heading off to meet with the Groom at Christ Church C of E, Aspull. The boys arrived in style wearing aviators as they posed inside and in front of a silver Bentley. The ceremony soon began as everyone made there way inside to witness the marriage of the couple. It was beautifully run and they soon headed down the aisle as Mr & Mrs walking out to the confetti shot.
Afterwards we all headed off to the Village on Green, Aspull where the group shots were taken as we worked around the weather. The speeches were moving and included a message from a good friend of the couple who unfortunately could not make it. They enjoyed their wedding breakfast and they soon were outside ready and eager to have some shots of them both together. We walked around the area looking for some potential spots.
They had a very good magician who entertained the guests leading up to the first dance.
I hope they had a memorable day and I look forward to speaking with them again very soon to discuss their wedding album layouts.
