After a recommendation from Carla of Sugar Perfection Cakes I met with Shaun and Kelly who planned to get married at the Fir Groves Best Western Hotel in Warrington. They both were lovely to talk to as soon as we sat down to discuss their wedding day photography requirements.

As we approached the day itself we met up for their pre-wedding shoot which they decided the grounds of Walton Hall and gardens was the perfect place for it. They seemed anxious at first but they soon got into the flow of the shoot.

I met with Kelly and the Bridal party as they were getting their hair done at the same hairdressers which Kelly works at. Afterwards we left for her home so I could capture the little details of the morning along with documented shots of everyone finishing off getting ready.

I left soon after the moment when Kelly walked down the stairs to surprise her father in her stunning wedding dress. I felt it was the best time to leave so Kelly could have a little time with just herself and her father together.

As I arrived at the Fir Grove Hotel I suddenly noticed the ornament which is unique for that specific venue and you can see it among the photographs below.

Shaun seemed well and everyone was in high spirits. The ceremony was beautiful which was followed by group shots and then leading into the wedding breakfast. After 3 great speeches we moved outside for some more intimate shots of them both together and with the help from certain guests we got them laughing :-)

I had such a fantastic day photographing their wedding and it was a pleasure to work again with Barry of Diamond Lights Videography.
