I met with Steven and Jill at Lancashire Manor House in Pimbo near UpHolland a short while before their big day to discuss their photography requirements. It was lovely to go through the running's of the day and see the venue again.

Jill wanted the bridal preparations documented before the ceremony began so I arrived around 3 hours before everything kicked off to capture it all. All of the girls got ready at the venue which meant more time at the stunning location. It was so much fun and I even put down my camera for a brief moment to iron one of the Paige boy’s shirt as timings were creeping up on us all.

The ceremony finally arrived and I met with Steven and the Groomsmen beforehand to first introduce myself and also to get a couple of shots of them together. It is always an emotional moment for family and friends but even more so for the couple as the Bride walks down the aisle with her father. It was a beautiful ceremony with fantastic readings from guests.

After everyone headed out to congratulate the new Mr & Mrs we went outside for the group shots before heading back in for the couple to relax with their guests. Steven and Jill were then greeted into the wedding suite for the speeches and then the wedding breakfast.

As many people know, the wedding day goes so fast and as the light started to fade I noticed a gorgeous sunset on the horizon. I grabbed the happy couple quickly for their last intimate shot of the day.

The first dance was something special but I think the more entertaining moment came a short time afterwards. I have to say at this point that the couple and most of the guests were big St Helens rugby fans and with the team beating their local rivals, Wigan that day it is safe to say that the atmosphere went up a gear.

I hope everyone had a truly an amazing day!
