The wedding of such a lovely couple who I met originally over a coffee back in early 2015 to discuss their big day. The day was to be held predominantly at Brookfield Hall in Westhoughton, Bolton.
The morning saw me at the couples home in Hindley where I documented the build up including all of the essentials like the wedding shoes, wedding jewelry, wedding flowers and more importantly the wedding dress. I then finished off capturing the more candid shots of Lisa enjoying the remaining hours of single life with her mum, sister and niece. It was great fun but it all went too fast and before I knew it I was in the car heading to Brookfield Hall.
As I arrived I briefly spoke with the registrar and the wedding coordinator before proceedings kicked off. I then captured guests arriving as they were greeted with some beautiful music provided by a lovely lady and her Harp. I also got a couple of photos of Tony with his best man whilst running through the final details with the registrar. He was in good spirits laughing and joking!
Lisa arrived and I was set at the front of the room ready with camera in hand. It was all beautiful with a lovely reading spoken by a member of the family. When rings were exchanged and the signing of the register was complete I set myself up again but this time at the rear of the room ready for the new Mr & Mrs Calderbank to walk back down the aisle hand in hand.
The newly weds went for a quick 15 minute drive with Memorable Journeys Wedding Cars before returning for the confetti photo and formal group shots. The afternoon was then very relaxed and documented and I also managed to get some photographs of the room undisturbed before everyone headed inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
The afternoon included entertainment provided by Paul of Dub-
The evening was then taken over by Dave from Ice Entertainment Uk and a singer who sang some great music. The happy couple enjoyed a brief but wonderful few minutes with each other as they took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
I hope they had a memorable day and I wish them all the best in their married lives together. I also hope they had a fabulous time on their honeymoon
