Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Mitton Hall near Whalley. This Lancashire wedding venue is a popular choice for engaged couples wishing to tie-the-knot at and also hold a reception to celebrate such an occasion.
I turned up nice and early to get some shots of the stunning building and surroundings before heading upstairs to photograph the bridal party getting ready. Half an hour before proceedings began I headed downstairs to meet and greet Michael and the groomsmen whilst getting a selection of documented shots of guests arriving.
The ceremony was beautiful which followed a lovely confetti photo outside and the group shots. The newly weds and myself also managed to squeeze in some more intimate photos of them both together before we lost the Autumnal light. There were 3 great speeches and fantastic entertainment by a wedding singer 🙂
The day was perfect which ended in the first dance, a father and daughter dance….. and finally a surprise ‘up-town funk’ dance provided by a group of ambitious friends. Before I knew it, it was all over and I was wishing the new Mr & Mrs all the best in their new married lives together
I look forward to speaking with them soon 🙂
