On Saturday 14th November I was asked if I would attend a charity gala dinner which was all in aid of the Royal School for the Blind in Liverpool. I was to arrive at Devonshire house and document the evening along with a short period of formal group shots of guests as they arrived. Each person would receive a digital copy at a later date and all they had to do was offer a small donation on the evening with 100% of the funds going towards this great cause.
I was honored to be part of the event and it was a privilege to have been able to help in such a small way. There were plenty of fantastic raffle and auction prizes on the night which were kindly given by so many sponsors.
Pauline Daniels even made an appearance to help with the evenings success. She was so lovely and lived up to her comical stature. A local dance group MD Productions, which included many enthusiastic kids who have appeared on The X Factor and Britain’s got Talent, turned up to put on a great show for everyone there. Tony Blaney provided some fabulous singing and it was a pleasure to meet him and his team.
So far the evening has raised over £7000 with more still to be collected. Thank you to everyone for your donations and support 🙂
