Congratulations Liam & Victoria!

It was a privilege to have been asked to be part of Liam and Victoria’s big day yesterday!

I arrived early in the morning for the bridal preparation at Victoria’s home in St Helens. I got straight into it and captured all the little details whilst documenting the build up of the bridal party getting ready which included gifts, laughter and even a few selfies 🙂

I soon left for the church and turned up half an hour before proceedings began. I met with Liam and the groomsmen whilst also having a quick word with the vicar who made an extra special trip up from London to marry the couple in their local church. Barry the videographer was also documenting the day and was a great help as usual. It was a beautiful ceremony which included a fantastic confetti shot afterwards.

We all headed over to the reception venue which was The Holiday Inn at Haydock and upon arrival I quickly got my camera ready as the cars soon arrived! We managed to squeeze in some shots of Liam and Victoria before we lost the light but we did have a stroke of luck with the weather as it was blue skies and sunshine all day (even if it was a little on the chilly side) 🙂

As everyone headed into the wedding suite for the speeches and wedding breakfast, Liz the pianist played some stunning music. There were 5 lovely and very personal speeches from the Father of the Bride, the Groom, the Best man, the Mother of the Groom and Victoria’s sisters.

After the cutting of the cake and a beautiful first dance to ‘unchained melody’ I soon headed off and left the party in full swing!

I hope the new Mr & Mrs had a fantastic day with their lovely family and friends and I look forward to speaking with them soon 🙂
