The weekend has been a very busy one indeed for me with 3 fantastic wedding occasions being photographed from Thursday through to Saturday and it all started with Mark and Kathryn as they tied the knot in Liverpool.

I began by heading over to Seaforth for the Bridal Preparations where Kathryn and the girls were having their hair and make-up done downstairs whilst I captured all the smaller details upstairs. After this short time I headed back downstairs to document the final stages of the morning.

With the ceremony taking place at ‘Our Lady and Saint Nicholas Church of England’ in Liverpool City Center I knew parking was going to be a little tricky so I headed off in good time to meet and greet Mark and the Groomsmen whilst capturing photos of guests arriving. Before Kathryn and the Bridal party arrived I also captured some shots of the stunning church within it’s surroundings and spoke with the vicar who was to take charge of the service.

Kathryn arrived and before long she was walking down the aisle with her Brother who was had the immense privilege of giving her away. The ceremony ran smoothly with a couple readings and when rings were exchanged and the official signing of the register had been complete it was then time for the happy couple to walk hand-in-hand back down the aisle as Husband and Wife.

We cracked on with the formal groups meaning everyone could then enjoy themselves without worrying once they arrived at the reception venue which is how I like to do it and the newly weds certainly feel better doing it this way too! A bus was booked for all family and friends to go from the Church to the reception venue whilst I stayed back and captured some photographs with Mark and Kathryn inside and around the area of the Church.

We finished up and then made our way to Everton Football Club where they were to enjoy an afternoon of celebrations with their family and friends. Once formally introduced into the room they sat down for their wedding breakfast with the speeches following afterwards.

I arranged to focus on the shots of them together after the meal as it gave them a little time to mingle with their guests. This is important for me to do as I appreciate how fast the day goes and wouldn’t want any of my clients thinking that they spent all of the day with their photographer, lol!

After we enjoyed a short time around the grounds of the stadium I left them to again chill out and really take in their special day with family and friends. It gave me time to briefly look through what I had captured up to date and also prep myself and my equipment for the first dance.

I hope the new Mr & Mrs Barnes had an amazing day and I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to be part of it all!

Enjoy these sneak peeks and I look forward to uploading the other two fantastic wedding blogs tomorrow 🙂

Thanks…
